The DBM is a driven surface unwind stand. The unit incorporates its own PLC which is able to control the tension of the film. In the case of overrun for instance after an abrupt stop and with heavy rolls, the PLC instructs the rollers to rewind and re-tension the web. Multi lanes are possible and 4 x reel separators are provided. A pre load platform (pictured above) is available for even quicker reel changeovers.
